In the mist of a reflection
In the mist of a reflection,
I lost myself and had no more sense of direction.
With nothing to guide my way, I was slowly fading away,
I had tried to go both ways but nonetheless, felt astray.
I looked down the avenue,
But all I could hope for was a blurred view.
I tried to clean my glasses, but it remained just the same,
My vision was still obscured, by the nature of the game.
My senses were blinded by the appearances,
And as much as I tried to figure it all out and understand,
My mind was misleading me into a no man's land,
For I was not able to foresee beyond those fences.
As I was looking for a way out of this confusion,
I called your name, but it echoed and came back my direction,
You did not answer, but I could tell by the weather,
You were experiencing similar state of mind my lover.
